Smt. Vanitha Mohan officiates as the Chairperson of Pricol Limited, manufacturers of automotive products. Pricol is one of the few organizations in the region having more than 25% women amongst their work force. She is the Managing Trustee of Siruthuli, an NGO which works towards a clean and green environment with special focus on the restoration and protection of water bodies of Coimbatore. She is also the Vice President of RAAC ( Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore) whose aim is to create an Azhagana Kovai through effective garbage management initiatives. Mrs. Vanitha Mohan is the Past President of the 91 year old Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Coimbatore. She has to her credit of holding the post as the first lady president to occupy the highest office of the prestigious organization. She is the recipient of many awards in the sphere of women achievers and eco-conservation. Most noteworthy of them is the “Abdul Kalam Seva Ratna award” for her contribution in the sphere of water conservation from the Dalai Lama.

Ms. Sreepriya Kowshik an alumna of our college from Commerce Department Batch 1994-97, awarded as one of the most Promising Woman leaders of 2021, by Economic Times, powered by Femina, in a function held virtually. She was given the opportunity of joining HDFC Limited, through our college, completed the first 6 years of her career, followed by a year with ICICI Bank. Meanwhile, she pursued MBA through correspondence and relocated to London, and completed CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice Practice, from Institute of Bankers, UK). Post her return, she had a rewarding career with GE Money, then completed her Six Sigma Green Belt and Senior Management Programme from IIM Calcutta. Moving to a US Mortgage company opened up international exposure and led her to start her own company, Prologiq Business Services LLP in 2013. Currently, she also manages two other companies in the Manufacturing sector, that manufactures India’s indigenous Smart Door lock and Cabinet locks, operated through Mobile, Fingerprint, RFID and Digital.

Ms. Shimna Sameer, A dynamic, vivacious and purpose driven women business leader, Shimna Sameer is a proud alumna of our college from MA English Literature. She has carved a niche for herself in the business world championing for gender diversity and inclusion. In 2020, Shimna Sameer has been named the “Outstanding Women of 2020” by India New England News a prime online and video magazine serving Indian American community in the United States and “Heroes Women Role Model Lists 2020” one among the top 100 corporate women globally for empowering women and working on gender equality by Yahoo Finance. She is currently the Managing Director, National Operation, Northeast Division Executive of Bank of America. She is passionate about advancing women’s careers and actively works to develop and mentor women leaders. She is the founder and executive sponsor of bank Women’s Forum and the executive sponsor for the company’s Company Banking &Investments Employee Engagement & Inclusion Council.

Ms. R. Sughasini, Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime Against Women And Children, Coimbatore district. She was selected in Direct Recruitment of Group – I services conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission and joined Tamil Nadu Police Service as Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2009. Her first independent charge was at Thoothukudi district and subsequently served in Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and Perambalur districts. She served for 3 years and 6 months in CBCID crime branch followed by an year’s service in TANGEDCO as Vigilance officer. In 2018, she was promoted and posted at Dindigul district as Additional Superintendent of Police. In 2019, she was posted as the Principal of PRS (Police Recruits School), Coimbatore. She trained 200+ recruits with greater percentage of passing out. Since, 2021, she has been serving in Coimbatore district as ADSP, Crime Against Women and Children, Law and order, Maintenance along with implementation of security schemes.
