Department of English Literature (SF) of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women successfully organized an enriching Alumni Meet on 14.12.2024, bringing together past and present members of the department. The event, held online via Zoom, provided an excellent opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and share their experiences with the current students. The event began with a warm welcome address by Mrs. K. Priyadharshini, Assistant Professor, Department of English Literature (SF). The highlight of the event were the alumni speakers, who shared their experiences and insights. Ms. Ancina, Ms. Monikasre, Ms. Mahitha, Ms. Subiksha, and Ms. Ashika took the stage, reflecting on their memorable college days, the challenges they faced, and the valuable lessons they learned during their time at the college. They also spoke about their current professional fields, showcasing the diverse career paths that English Literature graduates have pursued. The alumni were enthusiastic about engaging with the current students, offering advice, answering questions, and sharing personal anecdotes. Their insights into the practical applications of an English Literature degree and their experiences in various industries were particularly inspiring for the students in attendance.
