Department of Data Analytics organized an alumni meeting “Reconnect 2022” for the batch (2019-2021) on 19th March 2022 through online mode. The meeting started at 11.30 a.m. and Dr. N.Radha, HOD, Department of Data Analytics welcomed the gathering. The current faculty members interacted with alumnae. 24 alumnae from the batch 2019-21 attended and interacted with the current I year students and shared their working experiences. They gave ideas about how to choose the company, project title and platform for their summer internship and final semester project. Also the alumnae suggested students to concentrate in the practical oriented learning process such as the combination of data science and statistics, more exploration on EDA, Excel, Pyspark, and end to end deployment process. The alumnae asked the students to learn online certification courses to gain more domain knowledge in the course curriculum.
The alumnae shared their joyful memories at PSGRKCW at the end of the meeting. Most of them volunteered to render services for the benefit of the current students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by G.Anitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Data Analytics.
