The Alumni Meet was organised by Department of English (SF) on 10 April, Saturday 2021. Alumni from the year 2015,2016 and 2017 batches were invited for this meeting, which was presided by Dr. R. Padmavathi, Dean – Academic Support and Alumni Relations, Dr.M.Aishwarya, Head, Department of English (SF) and the Department staff. Two Alumni guests were invited as speakers for the Meet: Dr.N.Bhuvana, Head, Department of English, Providence College for Women, Coonoor and Dr.Raichel John, Assistant Professor, Department of English, St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri, Calicut. They addressed the students regarding their journey from their college days to being successful women in their career. Our Alumni Abisha Martin of 2015 batch shared her experience in NSS Club and how it gave her strength to face the present world with self-confidence. These sessions motivated the students for being a part of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women. All those attended the meet enjoyed the session, as it was an eye-opener of their goals and dreams becoming a reality by building confidence and perseverance. The speakers also thanked the Management for their support that helped them achieve expertise. Such valuable lessons of life are hard to come by and through this Meet, new understandings of reality motivated the students to go forward with confidence.
